Reviews Overview

Most Liked

Patrons rave about the Neer Dosa, noting its light, airy texture and ideal pairing with rich and spicy seafood. The Prawn Ghee Roast stands out, often described as a flavor explosion that lovers of coastal cuisine must experience. Many also appreciate the attentive service, where staff take pride in sharing the cultural significance of various dishes, enhancing the dining experience further.

Testimonial highlights include the Seafood Gassi, a curry that embodies coastal comfort food, and the Gulab Jamoon, presented freshly fried and irresistible. Valet parking is a bonus that many find appealing, alleviating parking concerns in this busy area.

Most Disliked

Some diners mention slight delays during peak hours, especially on Fridays and weekends. Popular dishes may sell out quickly, leading to disappointment if expectations were set on specific favorites. A few reviews highlight the unevenness in vegetarian options; while seafood dishes receive outstanding applause, non-seafood fans may find fewer standout items.

Furthermore, parking poses challenges during busy periods; although valet services are available, finding street parking can be tricky. Those who prefer absolute quiet might also find the dining area hustle a bit lively during dinner rushes, which detracts from a relaxed atmosphere for some.

If you’re craving authentic coastal or Mangalorean flavors, Maravanthe Coastal Cuisine is an absolute must-visit. Their Neer Dosa, soft and delicate, pairs perfectly with the rich and aromatic Ghee Roast( prawn/ chicken), which is full of that signature coastal spice . The Fish Rava Fry is crisp on the outside and tender inside, while the Prawn Sukka bursts with spicy, coconutty flavor. The Seafood Gassi is another highlight — a comforting, coconut-based curry that captures the soul of coastal cooking. For something different, the Ragi Mani makes a wholesome and refreshing dessert, and the Pepper Paneer adds a lovely, pepper note for vegetarians. The Gudbud icecream is full of nostalgic layered ice-cream treat that ends the meal on a sweet note. It’s not your standard Instagrammable café, but a place where you go to truly enjoy honest, authentic food 🌴🍛🐟

Maravanthe, located in Indiranagar, is a great spot for seafood lovers. We tried the squid, pomfret tawa fry, and neer dosa — everything was delicious. The staff are polite and take the time to explain the dishes in detail. It's a good place for a family outing, and they also provide valet parking. Highly recommend for tasty coastal food!

Good food, good taste, good service. So far I’ve tried their Prawns Ghee Roast and Neer Dosa, Thali, and Coconut Pudding. Pudding is yumm, ghee roast was good, I’ve tried similar ghee roasts in other places, this wasn’t much of a surprise, but tasted good. Nothing to complain. Thali was also tasty. Parking could get challenging, even for 2 wheelers, but that’s something manageable. I think they have Valet parking for 4 wheelers. Price is just alright. Pudding is ₹125, Ghee Roast ₹490, Neer dosas ₹65 a plate, all plus tax (not inclusive). Overall, a good place. 👍🏼

Officially found my Mangalore food fix! I mean, look at the ghee roast! It’s just as good as it looks. We ordered the mutton sukka as well, which had the right sukka consistency, some tend to make it too runny. Had these with neer dosa and pundi to seal the deal. We had ordered a Mushroom Urval too, which was slightly off, but a lot of vegetarian options are available.

Every part of our meal was a delight, from the tangy kokum soda to the delicate neer dosa and the many types of seafood, including succulent crab sukka, banana leaf-steamed pomfret, tava fried anjal, and the Mangalorean fish curry with buttery kane fish. Service was impeccable and personable. Sachin gracefully explained every dish and was attentive throughout our meal.

This is one of the best places to go if you enjoy Mangalorean food. The ghee roast here is too good. It’s a family dining resturant, with few of the best non veg dishes in Bangalore. If you love to have sea food then also this is very much recommended. Must tries here - Ghee roast chicken, prawn, crab and Neer dosa. One of the best combos I have ever tried. In dessert - Coconut pudding is a must try. Meals are also available. The staff here is very polite and helpful, and the service is really quick. Price wise its very reasonable and pocket friendly. Around 400 to 600 per person. Around 100 metres from Indiranagar Metro station. Only problem is parking since there is no designated parking spot, you have to search and park.

Great place for authentic Mangalorean food. Tried the Anjal Masala Fry, Squid Ghee Roast, Neer Dosa and their fish meal which comes with a beautiful rawa fried ademeen. Worth a second visit. Service and ambience are decent.
